Coastal Flooding Reported

Unusually high astronomical spring tides will continue to produce elevated tides across south central South Carolina and north coastal Georgia.

Some flooding has already been reported:
Colleton County, Edisto Beach
Yacht Club Road and Dock Site Road were flooded with 6-8 inches of water

Beaufort County, Hunting Island
Water was encroaching on campsites in Hunting Island State Park

Beaufort County, Fripp Island
Water covering the road heading to Fripp Island. Water is approaching the gate house and several other structures.

Flooding will continue to be an issue and concern for the next few days. Here are the scheduled times of high tide for the next few days.

High Tide 10:25a.m. 8.6

High Tide 10:59a.m. 7.1

High Tide 11:59a.m. 7.1
