A hard freeze warning is in effect for the following Georgia counties: Coffee, Jeff Davis, Bacon, Appling, Wayne, Atkinson, Ware, Pierce, Brantley, Echols, Clinch, Charlton, Terrell, Dougherty, Lee, Worth, Turner, Tift, Ben Hill, Irwin, Early, Miller, Baker, Mitchell, Colquitt, Cook, Berrien, Seminole, Decatur, Grady, Thomas, Brooks, Lowndes, and Lanier from midnight to 9 AM Tuesday.
Cold air will continue across the area tonight. Sub-freezing temperatures are expected for 6 to 9 hours with minimum values in the low to mid 20s in the hard freeze warned counties. Hard freeze conditions are likely. Patchy frost will be possible in wind protected areas.
A hard freeze warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or highly likely. These conditions will kill crops and other sensitive vegetation.
A freeze warning is in effect for the following Georgia counties: inland Glynn and inland Camden from 1 AM to 9 AM Tuesday
Sub-freezing temperatures are expected for 5 to 8 hours with minimum values in the upper 20s in the freeze warned counties. Patchy frost will be possible in wind protected areas well inland.

Appropriate action should be taken to ensure tender vegetation, outdoor pets, and exposed water pipes have adequate protection from the cold temperatures.
