A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect until 10a.m. Saturday for the following counties: Glynn and Camden.
Widespread dense fog which has been poised over the coastal waters for much of the day has spread inland to affect mainly the beach communities. It's expected that this dense fog will continue to progress inland and affect most areas with visibility less than a quarter of a mile at times.
A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving...slow down...use your headlights...and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
