A dense fog advisory is in effect for the following Georgia counties: coastal Bryan, coastal Chatham, coastal Liberty, and coastal McIntosh as well as the following South Carolina counties: Beaufort, coastal Colleton, Charleston, and coastal Jasper from 8 PM this evening to 11 AM Monday.
Dense marine fog will impact portions of coastal counties through Monday morning, reducing visibility to one quarter of a mile or less at times. Visibility may improve somewhat by Monday afternoon.
A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving, slow down, use your low beam headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you in case a sudden stop is needed.
