Tonight...Possible Strong to Severe Thunderstorms
A potent cold front will remain to the west of the area through tonight while strong upper level dynamics move across the area. An area of moderate to heavy rain with embedded thunderstorms may move into portions of southeast Georgia from the west this afternoon into tonight. Some of these thunderstorms may be strong to severe with damaging winds and large hail expected to be the main hazards.
Friday through Wednesday...
Another strong cold front will track into the southeast United States Saturday, then move through southern South Carolina and southeast Georgia Saturday night. This may result in severe thunderstorms across the South Carolina and Georgia Low Country, mainly late Saturday afternoon and Saturday night with damaging winds and large hail expected to be the main hazards.
