The depression is moving toward the east-northeast around 18 mph. This general motion with an increase in forward speed is expected during the next 12 to 24 hours.
Maximum sustained winds are around 35 mph with higher gusts.
Minimum central pressure is 1006 mb or 29.71 inches of mercury.
The depression is not expected to threaten any land areas. The depression should become extratropical or dissipate in the next 12 to 24 hours as it moves over colder waters.
