The depression is moving toward the east-northeast around 15 mph. An increase in forward motioni is expected during the next 24 to 36 hours.
Maximum sustained winds are around 35 mph with higher gusts.
Minimum central pressure is 1006 mb or 29.71 inches of mercury.
The depression is not expected to threaten any land areas. Little change in strength is forecast during the next 24 hours. The depression should become extratropical in the next 24 hours as it moves over colder waters and is expected to weaken or dissipate by Saturday.
