The National Weather Service has issued a Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for minor flooding of poor drainage areas in northeastern Camden county in southeast Georgia... including the city of Woodbine... and southern Glynn county in southeast Georgia until 1030 am edt

At 824 am edt weather service doppler radar indicated heavy rain from near Dover Bluff to Woodbine and Colesburg. The associated showers are slowly drifting southwest. Rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible the advisory area.

Excessive runoff from these storms will cause flooding of small creeks and streams... highways... streets and underpasses. Additionally... country roads and farmlands along the banks of creeks and streams and other low lying areas are subject to flooding.

Do not drive your vehicle into areas where the water covers the roadway. The water depth may be too great to allow your car to cross safely. Move to higher ground. remember...turn around dont drown.
