A Wind Advisory remains in effect until 11p.m. for both Beaufort and coastal Colleton Counties.
Southeast winds of 20 to 30mph with gusts up to 40mph will continue through this evening as an intensifying low pressure system passes through central and southern South Carolina.
Winds will likely be highest on elevated bridges and overpasses, possibly reaching 45mph at times.
Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution on bridges and overpasses.
