A DENSE FOG ADVISORY is in effect until 8a.m. Tuesday for the following counties: Jenkins, Screven, Candler, Bulloch, Effingham, Tattnall, Evans, Bryan, Chatham, Long, Liberty, McIntosh, Allendale, Hampton, Colleton, Jasper, and Beaufort.
Conditions will remain highly favorable for areas of dense fog across southeast South Carolina and southeast Georgia tonight.
In many areas, visibility will be reduced to one quarter of a mile or less until after daybreak Tuesday, resulting in hazardous driving conditions.
If driving...slow down, use your low beam headlights and leave plenty of distance ahead of you in case a sudden stop is needed.
