Long Duration Cold Weather Event Continues

»  Comments | Post a Comment

This morning’s low temperature of 21-22 (estimated at the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport… climate summary will be available later) marks the 10th day in a row of temperatures at or below 30 degrees.

The all time record cold event of 13 days in a row of at or below 30 degrees was in 1966 (since records have been kept beginning in 1874).

I think we will tie for the all time record of days with 13 on Thursday morning… but not break on Friday morning.

Here are my projected lows.

Tuesday AM.… 25
Wednesday AM… 24
Thursday AM… 28 (tying the record)
Friday…. 36 (thus not breaking the record)
