Wow, it's been an incredible end to the work week with sunshine and warmer temperatures! If only it could last...
Instead, we have a storm system on the way for the weekend, and it could drop quite a bit of rain.
For tonight, it will be milder and quiet. Clouds will increase overnight, but it will stay dry. Look for inland areas to drop to lows in the lower to mid 40s. Expect lows near 50 on the coast.
On Saturday, it will start dry. Clouds will increase, and then rain will become likely later in the day. Rain could even be heavy at times. With easterly winds, highs will top out in the mid 50s to the lower 60s.
On Saturday night, expect more rain. We could even hear a rumble of thunder. Lows will stay very mild due to the cloud cover and rain, with temperatures dropping to the 50s.
On Sunday, more rain is expected. But the storm system will be moving out of the area, so expect the rain to taper off eventually. Some rain showers could linger into the afternoon. Highs will reach the mid to upper 60s.
Dry weather is then back for the work week.
Have a great weekend and keep looking up!
