One day just isn't enough. But it will have to do for now.
Another storm system has developed over the Gulf of Mexico, and it will bring rain back to the forecast at the beginning of the work week.
For tonight, it will stay dry, and it will stay cold. Under mostly clear skies and northeast winds, inland areas will drop all the way to the mid 20s to around 30.
On Monday, we will begin with lots of sunshine, but clouds will increase throughout the day as skies become mostly cloudy. Temperatures will still run a bit below average with highs in the mid 50s to near 60.
On Monday night, the Gulf of Mexico storm system will head our way. Rain showers will become likely during the overnight hours, and this rain will remain likely throughout the day on Tuesday.
We then get a break midweek on Wednesday...all before another storm system hits on Thursday.
See what I mean by the storms lining up? For now though, it looks as though our weekend won't be as bad this past one.
Have a great week and keep looking up!
