Severe Tstorm Warning for Allendale, Colleton, and Hampton Counties

A severe thunderstorm warning is in effect for southeastern Allendale, northern Colleton, and Hampton Counties in southeast South Carolina until 5:00 pm.

At 4:36 pm National Weather Service doppler radar continued to indicate a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing quarter size hail and damaging winds in excess of 60 mph.  These storms were located along a line extending from Pregnall to Lake Warren State Park or along a line extending from 7 miles southeast of Saint George to Lake Warren State Park moving southeast at 20 mph.

At 4:20 pm law enforcement reported a tree down near Reevesville.
