Strong to severe storms hit parts of the Coastal Empire and Lowcountry on Friday night, and storm damage was reported.
In Screven County...wind damage in Rocky Ford, where trees were blown down...also, hail was reported near Sylvania.
In Evans County...there were two reports of hail in Midway.
In Tattnall County...there were numerous reports of hail in Mendes, including golf-ball sized hail...and wind damage was reported in portions on Jones Lake where trees were blown down.
More storms will be possible throughout the weekend. In the event of severe weather, stay tuned to STORM TEAM 3.
